Any experience with Children's liquid Zyrtec?

Has any mom out there had a positive experience w/Children's Zyrtec? All I have read is negative...I am pretty freaked out now and don't want to give it to my daughter (even though the nurse recommended it). She needs some allergy relief but I am not willing to exchange her cough and drainage for all the side-effects I have read about. She is 4 years old...any suggestions???
