Isn't there a law about building mosque?

I used to own a store in NYC. As I remember there were laws that you can't make the same kind of business within a few blocks from each other. Also the people that are a certain amount of feet from a new business or church have the say if they want to have that business or anything else within that many feet or blocks. It was called community planning. Also as to what you can build near a National Monument. Look at the Laws.
