Should we now support a memorial mosque at Fort Hood?

Would that show just how committed to religious freedom we are? Why stop with one mosque at ground zero. After all, there are two main branches of Islam. Lets build two one for the Sunnis and another for the Shi-ates. How about a memorial church at Auschwitz? Oh, the Pope vetoed plans for one years ago, saying it would be insensitive to the murdered Jews. Was the Pope just being overly sensitive or could we all learn a lesson from His Holiness?
