Can I claim Earned Income tax Credit?

I am married with a son who will be almost 7 months old by end of Dec. 09. I will have made about $31000 at most this year and my wife did not work. I am 25 and she is 24. Both US citizens. We will file married jointly, although if she never worked not sure how that would work out? Does she also have to be 25? Any help would be great as I am loosing my job end of this year and need the money...Thanks.
