Is screaming like a rockstar bad?

Me and my cousin really like Linkin Park and We thought it would be cool to learn how to sing and scream like their lead singer Chester Bennington. He screams outwards not inwards so it shouldnt mess up the throat. But unfortunatly me and my cousin, well my whole family is catholic and my sister told me screaming is against our religion because its for devil worshippers. Well I didnt believe her because Linkin park and Chester Bennington are Christians, total opposite of that. But Im still wondering if screaming like Linkin Park against catholisicm. Thanks
